You can apply your own window style.
  • Download the Source Code
  • copy file FirstFloor.ModernUI --> Themes -->ModernWindow.xaml to your own project to the Themes folder
  • Customize the modern window
  • Connect this resource to your window
                <ResourceDictionary Source="Themes/ModernWindow.xaml" />
  • Create a resource key
<Style TargetType="controls:ModernWindow" x:Key="CustomWindow">
  • and apply the custom style to your window
        <StaticResource ResourceKey="CustomWindow"></StaticResource>

Why do you want to delete Back navigation button? It's very pretty work. I also added Forward navigation button in my customization source.

sorry to bump this .
but I'd like to remove the back button myself . and I'm getting quite a lot of errors in the process.
after copying the Themes -->ModernWindow.xaml to your own project to the Themes folder
I'm unable to proceed and getting quite alot of errors such as :

"ModernWindow" does not exist in the namespace "clr-namespace:FirstFloor.ModernUI.Windows.Controls"

any help is much appreciated.
