I want to make R# happy (-: and in the process learn about wpf styling

This is the code that R# is complaining about
<Style x:Key="EmptyWindow" TargetType="controls:ModernWindow" BasedOn="{StaticResource ModernWindow}">
If I put a key on the ModernWindow style like this
 <Style TargetType="controls:ModernWindow" x:Key="ModernWindowStyle">
Then everything stops working and I only get a black screen when I run the FirstFloor.ModernUI.App. Why is this happening?

Just learned that you can base a style on a control and the style in ModernWindowEx.xaml is based on the control ModernWindow, smart.
I have added this to ModernWindowEx.xaml to make R# happy
 <Style x:Key="ModernWindowStyle" TargetType="controls:ModernWindow"/>
    <!-- empty window style, no backbutton, menu, title links and logo -->
    <Style x:Key="EmptyWindow" TargetType="controls:ModernWindow" BasedOn="{StaticResource ModernWindowStyle}">
And now everything is super green
