Changing theme Light/Dark

Jun 18, 2014 at 11:16 AM

I am using ModernUI design for my application and I want to change the colors of font and some other stuff when I change the theme from Light to Dark.
How can I do it? Are there any properties or events that I could use?

Thanks :-)

To do what you want, please see SettingsAppearanceViewModel.cs of ModernUI Demo project (FirstFloor.ModernUI.App).

AppearanceManager.Current.AccentColor = (Color)ColorConverter.ConvertFromString("#FFFF1493");
AppearanceManager.Current.ThemeSource = (iWantDark) ? AppearanceManager.DarkThemeSource : AppearanceManager.LightThemeSource;
Setting either of those should get the job done. In the example I'm using a lovely shade of hot pink for the accent color while the theme triggers based on a bool value of iWantDark.
