Grid alongside mui:ModernWindow.MenuLinkGroups

Hello,

There is a particular control I want to always be visible and part of the ModernWindow. It will be a toolbar docked at the bottom. How can I accomplish this by limiting the page navigation of the menu link groups to a specific part of the window?

I've been making any additions I need to make to the ModernWindow in FirstFloor.ModernUI/Themes/ModernWindow.xaml. For example, I modified the re-size grip at the bottom of the page to be a colored status bar more like what Visual Studio 2012 has:
<!-- resize grip & status message -->
<Grid Grid.Row="4" Background="{DynamicResource Accent}">
    <Grid.ColumnDefinitions>
        <ColumnDefinition Width="*" />
        <ColumnDefinition Width="Auto" />
    </Grid.ColumnDefinitions>
    <TextBlock x:Name="Status" Text="{TemplateBinding StatusMessage}" Margin="3" Foreground="White" />
    <Path x:Name="ResizeGrip" Visibility="Collapsed" Width="12" Height="12" Margin="1" HorizontalAlignment="Right" VerticalAlignment="Bottom"
          Stroke="{DynamicResource WindowText}"
          StrokeThickness="1"
          Stretch="None"
          Grid.Column="1"
          Data="F1 M1,10 L3,10 M5,10 L7,10 M9,10 L11,10 M2,9 L2,11 M6,9 L6,11 M10,9 L10,11 M5,6 L7,6 M9,6 L11,6 M6,5 L6,7 M10,5 L10,7 M9,2 L11,2 M10,1 L10,3" />
</Grid>
I plan on making this like the right click panel that slides up in Windows 8 apps. Functionality can be extended in Windows/Controls/ModernWindow.cs.

I'm still not sure how I can use with alongside the mui:ModernWindow.MenuLinkGroups. "The property content cannot be set more than once."
